    This academic year marks the 20th Class of Coca-Cola Scholars. Of the 250 Scholars designated, 50 students will receive awards of $20,000 and 200 students will receive $10,000.     Sullivan Leadership Award

    Applicants must be first-time freshmen (i.e. 2008 high school graduates) entering college with no more than 45 quarter hours of college credit ( 30 semester hours) to be eligible for Sullivan Leadership Award consideration. Candidates must be US citizens, or permanent residents, from the states of Alaska, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington.     The American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program

    NEW

    The purpose of this program “A Constitutional Speech Contest” is to develop a deeper knowledge and appreciation of the Constitution of the United States on the part of high school students. Scholarship awards are presented to the three finalists in the Final round of the National contest as follows: 1st place- $18,000; 2nd place - $16,000; 3rd place - $14,000, Each Department (state) winner who is certified into and participates in the first round of the National contest will receive a $1,500 scholarship.

    2008 Seattle National Pan-Hellenic Council Academic Achievement Scholarship

    The Seattle NHC is requesting participation from the graduating seniors for the 2008 scholarship to be awarded in the amount of $500.00 dollars. Applicants for the scholarship should be students of special or outstanding promise who seek financial support to continue their education. The scholarships are limited to students who are underrepresented or disadvantaged student of African or African American descent; minimum of 2.75GPA; enrollment in a four year college/university in Summer and/or Fall 2008; a resident of King County (State of Washington) and attend school in King County (State of Washington).     The Greater Seattle Business Association (GSBN) and Pride Foundation have over $350,000 in scholarships available for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and straight-ally (straight and supportive of LGBTQ issues) students of all ages, as well as students from LGBT families. There are forty different types of scholarships with awards of up to $10,000, but only one application to complete.     Siemens Awards for Advanced Placement

    If you earn grades of 5 in AP science and math, you may be eligible for a $2000-$5000 scholarship.  Scholarships in the amount of $2000 are awarded to students from each of the 50 states who have earned the greatest number of AP grades of 5 in eight exams.  All US high school students who have taken AP exams and scored a 5 on at least three of the exams are eligible for this award.  Recipients will be notified in the spring of 2007.
